Our campsite is located in the 200 hectare nature reserve on the southern shore of Lake Zell, with an unobstructed view of the Kitzsteinhorn and the Schmittenhöhe. The Panorama Camp in Zell am See presents itself as a perfect starting point for active recreation in nature. A long walk along the nature experience trail ” Wiesenkönigreich“, a hike in the Hohe Tauern National Park or a bike tour on the 270 km long Tauern Cycle Path, there is something for everyone. But rather a relaxing day? Relax in the lido Erlberg, only 500 m away, and cool off in the crystal-clear Zeller See.
In winter the free ski bus stops in front of the Panorama Camp and takes you to the famous ski areas Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe and Maiskogel. Cross-country skiers can get on and do their laps on a wide variety of trails right in front of Panorama Camp. Those who want to take it a little easier can go on a leisurely snowshoe hike through the snowy winter landscape. The nature reserve Zell am See – Kaprun offers a special natural jewel also in winter.
The surrounding area offers a perfect infrastructure not only for sports activities, but also the cinema, supermarkets and shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity.

BY CAR (TOLL FREE)
Zell am See-Kaprun has a perfect connection to the transport network, in combination with the picturesque alpine panorama your car ride will become a pleasant sightseeing tour. Zell am See-Kaprun is about 2.5 hours by car from Munich and 1.5 hours from Salzburg.
From Germany, it is best to take the Munich-Salzburg highway, exit at Siegsdorf, pass through Inzell and continue towards Saalfelden and Zell am See. At the intersection just before Zell am See turn left towards Thumersbach, after 5 km you will have reached Panorama Camp Zell am See on the right hand side. For this arrival and departure route you do not need a toll vignette.
From Italy, it is best to take the highway towards Salzburg and exit at Bischofshofen towards Zell am See. Shortly before Zell am See, take the first exit at the traffic circle in the direction of Thumersbach. For this route you need a toll vignette.
From Switzerland it is best to take the Inntal freeway, at Wörgl turn off in the direction of Felbertauern, then take the route Wörgl – Kitzbühel – Mittersill – Zell am See. For this arrival and departure route you need a toll vignette.
BY TRAIN
The train stations Zell am See and Bruck an der Glocknerstraße are only a few kilometers away from Panorama Camp Zell am See. From there you can continue to the campsite by bus or cab. Here you can find the current timetables and book tickets directly.
